Based on the ETSI DECT-2020 NR technical specifications and global spectrum allocation data, DECT NR+ is designed to be frequency-agnostic. It can operate in any Time Division Duplex (TDD) band below 6 GHz.
However, its primary advantage lies in its use of the dedicated, license exempt 1.9 GHz DECT bands available worldwide. Unlike the crowded 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi/Bluetooth bands, these dedicated bands suffer from significantly less interference. In addition to the 1.9 GHz bands, DECT NR+ also supports standard global ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) bands.
