Transducer
This page covers transducer basics, types and mention transducer manufacturers.
A transducer is a device which changes energy from one form to the another. There are various transducers based on applications of use.
Electrical transducers are devices which makes electronic systems to communicate with the outside world. For example, microphone converts sound waves into electrical signals and loudspeaker does the opposite function. For these systems to work efficiently, proper impedance matching at the input and output is needed.

Transducers are of many types viz. pressure or acceleration transducer, optical transducer, load cell etc. Pressure transducer convert pressure into electrical measurable form, optical sensors convert light energy into electrical form, load cell converts force to electrical output etc.
