R&S CMP180 Validates Wi-Fi 8 Chipsets: Next-Gen Testing

The Rohde & Schwarz has recently validated Wi-Fi 8 chipsets in partnership with Broadcom. In joint collaboration, they have carried out test campaigns that demonstrate that the CMP180 meets the demanding technical requirements of Wi-Fi 8 chipsets.

CMP180 Tester for Wi-Fi 8

Following features of CMP180 make it useful to test Wi-Fi 8 chipsets. The product offers non-signaling testing for R&D, design validation and production. It provides automated test routines, calibration protocols and software frameworks for faster device integration.

  • Broad Frequency support : Supports up to 8 GHz
  • Channel bandwidths : up to 500 MHz
  • Multi-Channel & MIMO : Features dual independent analyzers (VSA) and generators (VSG), plus 4x4 MIMO support for rigorous testing.
