Qorvo’s New QPF4609E Front End Module Takes Wi-Fi 7 Performance to the Next Level

Qorvo has addressed this need with the release of the QPF4609E, a highly integrated 6 GHz Front-End Module (FEM) optimized for next generation wireless routers.
Unleash Wi-Fi 7 Potential
The QPF4609E is precision engineered to cover the entire UNII5-8 frequency spectrum (5.925 to 7.125 GHz). By integrating a 6 GHz power amplifier (PA), a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA), a single pole two-throw (SP2T) switch, and a coupler into a single 3.0 x 3.0 mm laminate package, Qorvo has minimized the necessary layout area without sacrificing capability.
This FEM is optimized for a 5V supply, deliberately minimizing power consumption. It is fully compatible with Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) architectures to achieve maximum linear output power and leading edge data throughput. Key performance metrics include a Tx gain of 32 dB, a PSAT of +32 dBm, and an exceptionally low Noise Figure (NF) of 1.8 dB on the receive path. It also features a broad range DC logarithmic power detector for highly accurate application feedback.
