Duplexer

Duplexer

The device will have two ports (Tx, Rx) and one antenna port as shown. Duplexer functions as 2 port to 1 port multiplexer/de-multiplexer device. It is used to multiplex/de-multiplex transmit and receive bands in GSM, CDMA and LTE systems. SAW filters shown can be used as SAW duplexer device.

Quadplexer

As shown there are 4 ports other than 1 antenna port. Quadplexer functions as 4 port to 1 port multiplexer/de-multiplexer device.

The figure depicts quadplexer device with 2 receive ports (P3 and P5), 2 transmit ports (P2 and P4) and one antenna port (P1). Due to its ultra less size requirements it can be used to reduce cost of overall end device development. Moreover it is ideal for space constraint applications.

Hexaplexer

As shown there are 6 ports other than 1 antenna port. Hexaplexer functions as 6 port to 1 port multiplexer/de-multiplexer device. Out of 6 ports, 3 ports are used as receive ports where as the rest of the three ports are used as transmit ports.

Pentaplexer

As shown there are 5 ports other than 1 antenna port. Pentaplexer functions as 5 port to 1 port multiplexer/de-multiplexer device. Out of 5 ports, 2 ports are used as receive ports where as the rest of the three ports are used as transmit ports.
