What is USB3 Standard?

Introduction:
USB 3.0 is managed by USB-IF forum. It is developed as per SuperSpeed USB specification. It defines various mechanisms such as device discovery and identification, control and image streaming. It is used to interface USB3 compatible vision devices to the computer having USB 3.0 interface.

It offers 350 to 400 Mbps throughput and consumes 4.5 Watt power at 5V. The cable length of about 8 meters are supported by USB vision standard.
