Moreover the infectious patients will be provided immediate medical support such as ventilators, medicines and so on.

The contact tracing technology uses bluetooth and beacon connectivities. The technology does not use GPS. Specific apps are available on Google play store and Apple App store for download. These apps are used by positive covid-19 patients to upload their health status. These apps are also used by health authorities to collect the data and inform the people who had come across in contacts with positive patients in last few days.

• 1. Alice and Bob meet each other for first time.
• 2. After their meeting, Bob has been diagnosed with COVID-19. He enters his test result in app provided on store by public health department.
• 3. As per Bob's consent, his phone details are broadcasted to the cloud.
• 4. Alice is unaware of the person to whom she met has become covid-19 positive. Alice sees notification on her phone about it from health department. She will also get notifications about all the positive COVID-19 patients in her area.
• 5. Alice will now intimated from concerned health authoritities about what steps to be taken by her.

Following are the drawbacks or disadvantages of Contact Tracing:
➨The success of technology depends on voluntary entries of patients in the contact tracing app.
➨As GPS technology is not being used, it is difficult for authorities to monitor breach of self isolation or self confinement.
➨Drones are requited to be used to enforce lockdown and self isolation in various regions. This increases cost of data surveillance system.
