LTE basics

This section of MATLAB source code covers LTE basics and provide link to LTE MATLAB code.

LTE is the latest of 3GPP series of cellular wireless standards. There are two components in LTE eNodeB(same as base station) and UE(same as mobile). There are two main terminologies in LTE as other standards viz. downlink and uplink. Downlink refers to transmission from eNodeB to UE and uplink refers to transmission from UE to eNodeB. In LTE OFDMA is used in the downlink and SC-FDMA is used in the uplink. Following are the very useful codes developed by Vienna University of Technology.
