Intel is going to build 14 nm FPGAs for Altera with its state of the art
FinFET process technology.
With this deal between Intel and Altera, Altera will produce high end FPGAs with advantages in performance, power and density.
Altera already leads 40nm and 28nm parts business and aiming to achieve 14nm with Intel's new process technology.
