What is Parallel camera standard?

Introduction:
This camera standard supports different acquisition speeds, pixel depths and image sizes. Parallel interface based cameras need customization of cables/connectors by their users.

Parallel interface is among other camera interfaces which support MIPI CSI interface. Following lines of parallel interface are required.
• Data lines (8 to 12 bits in size)
• HSYNC (Horizontal Sync) : Indicates one line of frame is sent.
• VSYNC (Vertical Sync) : Indicates one entire frame is sent. It is transmitted at the end of entire frame transmission.
• PCLK (Pixel Clock) : It will get change on every pixel.
