• Fixed satellite service- Includes all current radio communication services and operates essentially to fixed earth stations, via INTELSAT, EUTELSAT, ARABSAT etc.
• Broadcast satellite service- This consists of much smaller earth stations on domestic premises together with fixed earth stations providing uplink feeder to satellite.
• Mobile satellite service-This service consists of earth terminals located on mobiles as well as fixed base stations for connection back into major terrestrial networks.
