LDACS2 frame structure
This page covers LDACS2 frame structure used between Aircraft Stations (ASs) and Ground Station(GS) for communication purpose. LDACS2 is the Aeronautical communication system operates in the L band. It is based on TDD structure.
Figure depicts TDD LDACS2 frame structure. A frame consists of UP1, UP2, CoS1, CoS2 and LoG2.
UP1 and UP2 is used dedicatedly for Ground Station transmissions.
CoS1 and CoS2 us used dedicatedly for mobile Aircraft Transmissions.
LoG2 is used for channel entry purpose.
CoS1 is used to carry RTS, ACK or Keep-Alives type of frames. CoS2
